The concept is introduced by the World Customs Organization (WCO). It aims at enhancing international supply chain security and facilitating legitimate trade. It is open to all supply chain actors. The AEO status granted by one Member State is recognized by the customs authorities in all Member States. In Thailand, AEO was introduced in 2014. TCCL passed all the required measures and holds AEO No. THCB570038 issued by the Thai Customs Authority since.
In recognition of the importance of logistics business in Thailand, the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce, launched a project in 2014/2015 to raise and maintain an acceptable standard of logistics industry in Thailand. Logistics companies were required to prove their efficiency and ability to meet the said standard. DBD had issued a certificate to certify that TCCL has passed the requirement and has been recognized as a logistics company with qualified logistics management. The Certificate is issued on 17 July 2015.
